Another new track by Lupe Fiasco leaked yesterday, this time with a rock flare that made for another hot track. ”Shining Down” features frequent collaborator Matthew Santos, but according to Lupe himself, it is not the first single nor did he intend for it to be leaked! In a post on the LupE.N.D. Blog, Lupe expresses his anger in regards to this leak, blaming it on an email hacker. He also talks on his upcoming album, Lasers, and has this to say about it:
“Lastly, the album is fucking ridiculous. I dont like to brag or shit like that but the album is sooooo fucking crazy at this point 95% done. and its all balls to the wall fire. I have the experience and the freedom now to make what i think will be the best received album of my career.”
Since Lupe said in his post that he considers it a personal insult to post his music for download, I’m going to respect his wishes and not post it. But you can stream it from YouTube below:
