Two of our girls, Beyoncé and Kelly are nominated for awards on the American Music Awards. Both ladies released their respective albums this year and are for the first time actually competing against each other in the same category. Beyonce shot the video for “Party” in New Jersey this weekend. She brought along Kelly Rowland & her sister Solange. Check out pictures and info on the video via RapUp:

Beyoncé headed to the rural parts of New Jersey to shoot her new music video on Tuesday (Aug. 2). According to various reports, the retro-themed clip was for “Party,” her collaboration with André 3000, off her platinum-certified album 4. The visuals, filmed in South Brunswick’s Oakdale Mobile Home Park, called for flashy fashions, a red muscle car, and colorfully-dressed dancers. Solange and Kelly Rowland joined B on set, while eager fans scouted out the location and snapped up some camera phone pics.

According to Video Static, B is also planning to shoot a video for “Countdown” with “Sweet Dreams” director Adria Petty.

Kelly will guest star on Vh1′s show “Single Ladies” starring LisaRaye McCoy, Stacey Dash & Charity Shea. Kelly’s episode “Can’t Hide Love” airs Monday, July 25th on VH1 at 9/8c. Make sure you watch Kelly this coming Monday on VH1 and go out on Tuesday, July 26 & pick up her new album “Here I Am”.

Ms. Kelly performed “Motivation” and the remix with R&B singer Trey Songz on this years BET Awards. She wore all black and gave a sexy performance. She was pretty in pink for her red carpet arrival. Check out pics of Kelly on the red carpet and during her performance.

Ms. Kelly took time from rehearsals to give BET.com exclusive details of tonight’s performance for the BET Awards. Kelly described the performance as “sexy”. She confirmed that she worked with Rodney Jerkins, Tricky Stewart, Ester Dean, Jim Jonsin, Hit Boy and others. “Here I Am” is set to be released in the US July 26th.

Kelly Rowland, Jamie Foxx, Marsha Ambrosius and more pay tribute to 2011 BET Lifetime Achievement Award winner Patti Labelle in video released Tuesday. Just days before the actual award is given to Labelle, the video also gives viewers an idea of what to expect during the show Sunday.

“She’s fun. She has this great voice. She has so much character,” Kelly Rowland (“Motivation”) says in video to the left. “I remember the first time I met Patti. I felt so honored almost like it’s royalty.”

As previously reported, BET will honor the icon with the Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing her contributions to music and culture, during the BET Awards 11′ airing Sunday,June 26.
